wow.. this is gonna be a long post 
went to top one ktv at bugis (opp bugis junction) in the evening. sang from 6pm to 10pm
drinks are free flow. cost: $31.80 nett per pax. below are the pics of the ktv room taken by my hp (pardon my low quality pics).. if you apply for member (@ $10 for 2 yrs), there'll be a 10% discount on the room charges, as well as selected food and drinks. but i didn't apply, cos i wanna try it out first =P
i love this the most! think all hygiene freaks will love this! the mic is covered by a cloth thingy. they changed it after every singing session to ensure the cleanliness of the mic. i still remember once i smell saliva in one of the singing session at.... can't remember the ktv that i went to. super turn off!
anyway.. con't with the pics.. there is no remote control in the room. only this additional small "tv" next to the big one. you have to select the songs from this machine.
took me quite a while to get use to this controller...
you can make special effect like "stage", then you'll get the lights in the room (only the area above the big tv)

had it with alison on thur when we go ard collecting all the CNY posters =S found a colleague who loves pasta too! yeah!!! hmmm.. forgot to ask her if she likes soup spoon. LOL.. its been a long while since i had soup spoon.. ever since ping left ocbc.. *sob*
i am very into fengshui now. being influenced by sis.. LOL.. we went to world of fengshui at vivo yesterday.. she bought quite a lot of things. hoho.. but she hasn't finished buying yet, as some of the things are out of stock. i'll be helping her to get them when the stock is in. i wanna get a mystic knot, and maybe a guan yin dzi as well.. see how.. maybe i'll only get mystic knot only. cos it costs $58..
i bought this from the shop..
a "ru yi" with two leaves. its a hp strap.. "ru yi" is gd for overall wellbeing, esp on career side. and the two leaves are said to have the power of changing bad things into good ones. hope eveything will go smoothly for me from now onwards. hock ki ah! LOL.. and plus the mystic knot that i'll be getting end of this month, huat huat ah! LOL!!!
sis also bought us a Rat book.. a very interesting book by Lilian Too..
